Saiyel is known to be a couple different things, mainly the daughter of the Olai Town Guard's captain, a visual contradiction personified, and as a woman who makes her dreams come true through sheer grit and determination. She generally lets people think whatever they want, so long as the final point stands true. One part to pay back the community that raised her, one part to escape the shadow of her admittedly prestigious father, and one part to overcome the darker shadow of her family's past.
As a person, Saiyel is the kind of woman whose casual wear involves a bright yellow sundress and take gleeful leaps and bounds while doing her errands, but will just as easily toss it aside for a work harness and full armor to fulfil her duty as a guard as she marches with the same conviction as any other knight. She puts all of her heart and soul into whatever she does and she does it without an ounce of regret, even if it's gotten her into a few scrapes.
As a combatant, she's been trained primarily in sword and shield by her father, complete with a Kensida family secret that ensures they swing with full ferocity when needed. In short, she uses her geokinetic power in tandem with her swings, nearly doubling the cutting power of her sword, and the concussive force of her shield bashes. However, as a result she isn't as flexible in the kinds of stone she can manipulate due to being so specialized towards metals.
