A teenaged alien boy with a vest and work harness on. His right antenna is missing part of the end, but he still has a bright, cheery smile as he flashes a peace sign with his right hand

Terrandus is a boy born to Lorenza and Igneo Durziken in the forest town of Enkeni. After his father died in a barn fire, his mother made the decision to sell off the crops and animals, put their family pet in the extended care of the local vet, and moved into the city of Olai. As a result of the innate emotional distress of the situation, the general awkwardness of puberty and being in a new environment, he doesn't often say much. But what he lacks in words, he more than makes up for in his actions. Terrandus, though having lived longer without his father than with, still keeps the attitude he had about the world; Do right by all, and hold no grudges that aren't worth holding. And in that way, he holds a strong sense of right and wrong, always aiming to try and leave someone at least feeling better off than they were when he met them.

Being employed by Olai's local blacksmith as his apprentice, the boy makes a living to help support his family alongside his mother's place on the city council. In that time, however, he's found himself embroiled in several local dilemmas and ended up making a name for himself as a silent, diligent problem solver thanks to his more lateral thinking skills. That being said, he only has those skills because he tries his hardest to avoid physical conflict wherever possible, and dreads any time he would have to hold a blade in defense.

Though he doesn't have the heart for direct combat, he's found his calling in supportive roles, making new equipment for those who need it, using healing magic and medicines he carries, and using stone magic to create barriers and vantage points. Should he be forced to, however, he's undergone self-defense training from his employer with a shield made by his boss, and his father's old emergency sword - reforged and augmented with a strange gem that enhances his stone magic.

In the end, Terrandus's journey has been long and harrowing for him at his age, but every time he sees the people around him happy, he finds it hard to regret a single moment of the struggle.
