It's hard not to notice Agent Wildside when he's nearby. Even though his photo and name are considered classified in most personnel files, his refusal to take off his helmet in most situations makes him easy to spot. And if that's not enough, his somewhat abrasive personality and tendency to speak loudly is often enough of a hint it's him. And if that isn't doing it, the large steel-tipped claws of his gloves are fully-custom equipment that no other pilot would think to get.
Wildside, though not outright hostile to people, doesn't exactly have a sense of tact beyond the most basic of social concerns. Due to what he cites as a "troubled history" with social contact, he is known to be very asocial aside from a select few people he's known for a lot of his life. That being said, it's not impossible to get on his good side, even if it's a bit like getting a cat to trust you.
Of note in his abilities is his seeming inability to be permanently maimed. Any crash he's been in, he's survived no worse for wear. Any bullet wound he takes heals in short order. People are fairly certain they've seen him lose an eye in a security breach, and yet the worst he's complained about is a stinging sensation for a few weeks. On top of that, he seems to make use of this by having a very aggressive combat style, getting up close and personal and using his guns as bludgeoning implements just as often as he does firearms.
His primary equipment aside from his personal hunting shotgun and revolver is the 01i "Bluebird", a fighter jet with an onboard AI designed to alleviate the mental strain of combative maneuvers by handling evasive actions while the pilot handles counterattacks. The result was a pair of battle-ready knuckleheads who thankfully end up in less pieces than they did separately. In tenser situations, the Bluebird is able to remotely control a quartet of unmanned drones, and - if the situation calls for it - combine with them into an easy-deploy bipedal combat frame.
